The eBay Fashion app for iPhone was launched in 2011 to provide a fashion-centric shopping experience. In 2013 I led the effort to turn the iPhone app into a universal app for both iPad and iPhone.
I worked closely with Product Management and Development teams to ideate based on user research, then developed a recommended design approach using sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups. I was also responsible for UI design and creating visual assets.
Similar to other Fashion-based shopping apps, The app focused on fashion sales and events, highlighting new inventory from top fashion brands. The search results and product detail screens were also redesigned. Lastly, the search and browse experience was significantly improved.
